Commemoration of Proclamation No. 4
April 21 | 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

About the Event
Tomorrow, February 14, the university commemorates Proclamation No. 4 issued by then-American Governor-General of the Philippines, Francis Burton Harrison, in 1920. This declared the 232-hectare virgin forest land reserve in Barrio Ampayon, Municipality of Butuan, Agusan del Norte, as the site of the then Agusan Agriculture High School (AAHS), now known as Caraga State University.
Following the short commemoration activity in the morning, classes and work on both campuses will be suspended from 12:00 noon onwards, as mandated by OP Memorandum No. 48, s. 2025.
