Caraga State University formalized a strategic partnership with Intact Base, a program offering international students various programs in Taiwan, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 30, 2025, at Iloilo City.

Launched by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE), Intact Base administers the International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE), which is designed to attract international students to pursue academic and career opportunities in Taiwan, with a focus on STEM, Finance, and Semiconductor technologies. The program also features Chinese language training, financial support, and job placement assistance, with a two-year work commitment in Taiwan upon graduation.

Present in the ceremony were University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, CSUCC Division Chief for Academic Affairs Dr. Jona Biongcog, CEGS-Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (DECE) Faculty Engr. Re-Ann Cristine C. Puerin, and the dignitaries from Kun Shan University, Cheng Shiu University, Minghsin University of Science and Technology, and the head of Intact Base.

This new collaboration will foster joint efforts in research and development, technological innovation, and provide industry-aligned opportunities for students and faculty members. Importantly, it reinforces CSU’s commitment to producing globally competitive graduates equipped to meet the evolving demands of the international workforce. | via RCCPuerin, PICO
