Sustaining its support for personnel well-being and development, the CSU Gender and Development Office led a workshop on Fostering Well-Being, Parenthood, and Mental Health Awareness on May 29, 2025, at the HERO Learning Commons Auditorium.
The discourse tackled the importance of men’s well-being, often overlooked by societal pressure and conditioning, covering mental health and emotional resilience, responsible parenthood, gender sensitivity, and masculinity.
CSU’s Gender and Development (GAD) Office, in partnership with the region’s Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), highlighted gender perspective in response management as it commenced its National Disaster Month Training on Gender Perspective Response Management with the CSU Disaster Risk Reduction Management (CSU-DRRM) Core Group, Unit Heads, Directors, and college representatives.
The Caraga State University GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) through the Office of Gender and Development conducted a webinar on Women Empowerment and Gender Equality: Understanding Each Other, Coming Together, from the other side on March 17, 2022. The webinar was attended by a number of CSU employees.
