As part of its continuous journey toward HR excellence, Caraga State University welcomed the Civil Service Commission for an onsite assessment under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) on June 10 to 11, 2025.
The assessment evaluated the university’s HR systems and practices based on Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP) and Performance Management (PM), including onsite validation.
During the Exit Conference, the CSC-Caraga assessors commended the university for its strong documentation, alignment with the HRM system, and evident institutional support. The team shared positive and promising feedback, noting that the university is progressing toward maturity-level recognition. The final result will be released pending CSC-Caraga’s endorsement to the Central Office and subsequent confirmation.
This assessment underscores CSU’s commitment to establishing a merit-based, performance-driven, and people-centered HR system to ensure responsive, professional, and future-ready public service in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goal No. 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and No. 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) | via HRMS, PICO
