Caraga State University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso was awarded the Philippines Education Leadership Award 2019 on June 7, 2019 at the Dusit Thani Manila, Philippines.

June 5, 2019, four General Services Personnel were promoted to Casual Plantilla Positions. Mr. George G. Caumpay, who has been serving the University for 15 years, starting as carpenter/mason to being assistant to the University Electrician was promoted to Electrician I.

Mr. Pio C. Collado, who has been in the University for 14 years got the Carpenter I post; Mr. Marlo D. Solis, who has served the University for 21 years was raised to Utility Worker I; and Mr. Romulo T. Nalla after 11 years advanced to Plumber I.

Abzonie Reño delivered his valedictory speech on top of the pile of achievements during the 42^nd Commencement Exercises of the Caraga State University as the first CSU student who graduated Summa Cum Laude.

 Mr. John Mark Ramada from the College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries was awarded the Best Pig Husbandry “Back Home Improvement Plan” (BHIP) by the Aeres Training Center International (ATCI), Barneveld, Netherlands on May 28, 2019. The award was given by Programma Uitzending Managers (PUM) Netherlands senior experts. PUM is a volunteer organization committed to the sustainable development of small and medium-size enterprises in developing countries and emerging markets.
