Caraga State University faculty, Dr. Joycelyn C. Jumawan of the Department of Biology, College of Arts and Sciences together with her advisee Miss Jucil Coleen D. Apduhan won the Best Scientific Poster award during the 41st Annual Scientific Meeting and Scientific Poster Session of the National Academy of Science and Technology 2019, held at EDSA Shangrila Hotel on July 11, 2019.

June 24, 2019. Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) President, Dr. Manuel T. Corpus with AACCUP Consultant Dr. Maria Glenda O. De Lara visited CSU for an assessment of its readiness for high level Institutional Accreditation.
CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso with the CSU family welcomed the AACCUP people with warmth and a very positive disposition.
Sherryl Lipio Paz, Ph.D in Environmental Science, graduated with honors in UPLB’s 47th Commencement Exercises on June 22, 2019.
Dr. Paz got a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.10 among the sixteen PhD Environmental Science graduates coming from different places in the country. Dr. Paz received the award during the School of Environmental Science and Management (SESAM), UPLB Graduate School Hooding and Ceremony last June 21, 2019.
