Caraga State University extended care and love for its students as it steered an Intervention Program called ‘Pag-atiman sa Panginahanglan’ which reached out to students who had low performance on their middle term grade.  This program includes series of activities spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs in collaboration with the Guidance Counseling Office, and the Office of the Admission and Scholarships. 

The administrative manuals for the Office of Administration and Financeand the Income Generation Project (IGP), both crafted under the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, were duly approved by the Caraga State University Board of Regents during the 49^th BOR Meeting (Special) per BOR Res Nos. 49-16 and 49-17, heldat Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City last October 17, 2019.

The project on rubber research will be handled by two faculty members from CAAI and COFES. Dr. Raquel M. Balanay of the College of Agriculture and Agri-industries, and Mr. Richie P. Lador of the College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences.

Caraga State University once again produced two topnotchers in the concluded 2019 Forester’s Licensure Exam. 

Debbie Jale Tambor placed 7^th with a rating of 91.20, while Junalyn Villafane landed at 8^th place with 91.15, a few points behind Tambor.

October 2, 2019. The three-day Science and Technology for Development Forum officially began in Caraga State University with an opening program led by CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso. Its theme: University 4.0: Collaborate, Create, Communicate, Commercialize is indeed timely and relevant.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Penaso stressed the importance of research and that it is imperative that CSU must innovate, revolutionize, strategize, and commercialize to help the economic development of the country.
