The Caraga State University- Bids and Awards Committee held series of online fora for ongoing and upcoming 2021 projects, the awarding of three projects under Regular Agency Fund (RAF) 2020, and the public bidding for projects under Internally Generated Fund (IGF)/Business Related Fund (BRF) 2020.

Butuan City – Scientists and professors around the globe virtually gathered on a historic training on September 16, 2020 on the latest characterization techniques on nanomaterials which was spearheaded by Dr. Rey Y. Capangpangan of CSU’s NanoCeNTRE in collaboration with CHED DARE TO project, “Development of Nanoparticle-decorate Paper-based Sensor for Rapid Sensing of Metal Ions”.

September 11, 2020. Caraga State University’s first virtual AACCUP Accreditation successfully completed with remarkable notes from the accreditors. Findings and recommendations were presented by the AACCUP accreditation team as acknowledged and presented by Quality Assurance and Management Services director, Dr. Hernando T. Herrera.

September 7, 2020. Caraga State University has set about its first Virtual AACCUP Accreditation. AACCUP stands for Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines. It marked its remote Opening Program at 8:30 A.M. today.

In his opening remarks, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr Rolando N. Paluga noted the significance of an accreditation and how CSU embraced the mindset of “Everyday Accreditation” and welcomed the accreditors with his natural calm demeanor.

September 3, 2020. Caraga State University led by President Anthony M. Penaso underwent SOCOTEC 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit successfully. It was the 2^nd Surveillance audit for CSU and CSU’s first online, remote or virtual Surveillance Audit with the SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (formerly AJA Registrar). The audit covers all the basic and mandatory requirements of an on-site audit.
