September 5, 2022 marks the formal opening of Academic Year 2022-2023 for Caraga State University. The CSU community gathered together in welcoming the students and the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Office the President, Dr. Joy C. Capistrano in a Flag ceremony hosted by the College of Education headed by its Dean, Dr. Alvic A. Arnado.

The opening of Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées (CIMPA) Schools Philippines 2022 on Mathematical Modeling of Ecosystems happened on August 22, 2022, at the CSU-HERO Learning Commons Auditorium. Researchers and scholars from prestigious universities in Southeast Asia and in Europe gathered in Caraga State University for the CIMPA School Philippines 2022.

The Centre International de Mathematics Pures et Appliquees (CIMPA) school and its people went to Caraga State University on August 16 for Mathematical Modelling for Ecosystems Training. CIMPA along with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, led by Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, Office of the Internationalization and Global Engagement, headed by Dr. Jayrold Arcede, CSU-College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) - Mathematics Department headed by Dr. Esamel M.

The Caraga State University-College of Computing and Information Sciences reached out to Ampayon Central Elementary School (ACES) in its endeavor to produce quality training concerning productivity enhancement using IT tools. The training ended last August 26, 2022 at the ACES Social Hall.

The Bureau of Fire and Protection, Caraga Region (BFP) spearheaded the Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan Season 3 with its guest Dr. Ariel U. Cubillas, Director for the Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) of Caraga State University, last August 24, 2022, at the HERO Learning Commons.
