There is always a place for good human beings. Caraga State University’s former President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso was sworn into office as the new President of Bohol Island State University (BISU). The swearing-in ceremony happened at the Commission on Higher Education Office on October 27, 2022 after a rigorous processes.
Two (2) new takers from the BS Chemistry program of Caraga State University passed the recently conducted Chemical Technician Licensure Examination held last October 19, 2022, in 18 different cities of the Philippines. The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) celebrated it Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) on October 19-23, 2022 at the Robinsons Mall, Butuan City. One of the highlights of the RSTW was the Ideation and Pitching Competition where CSU was First Place in Ready to Mix Sagu, Soybeans, and Pao brownies concoctions. CSU also won as Best Presenter and CSU Cabadbaran Campus (CSUCC) got the Consumer’s Choice Award.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) - Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) from the central office conducted an onsite validation at Caraga State University for the project titled, “Upgrading Flexible Teaching and Learning Experience in CSU,” on October 25, 2022. The project is led by Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The Accreditors’ Barkadahan 2022 is the first-ever face-to-face convention of Accreditors all over the Philippines spearheaded by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
