Penaso former CSU President, currently Bohol Islands State University (BISU) President, serendipitously met during the 6th Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Summit, Philippines Startup Week 2022 @ Blue Leaf Events Pavilion, MacKinley Hill Village, Taguig City, Metro Manila on October 16, 2022.

Two (2) Faculty members of Caraga State University represented the university in the 4th International Conference in Agroforestry (ICAF 2022) organized by Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with the support of Southeast Asia Network of Agroforestry Education (SEANAFE), the Malaysian Society of Agroforestry (MySAF) and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF-Sabah).

November 21, 2022, after the flag raising ceremony in Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus (CSUCC) Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil presided the first Executive Committee meeting of his administration at the Athenaeum Building of CSUCC.

Hon. Jo Mark M. Libre, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and CSU Board of Regents Chairperson, served as keynote speaker in part 1 of the recently concluded International Science and Technology for Development 2022 Forum (iSciTech4Dev 2022 Forum) held at the Caraga State University- HERO Learning Commons Auditorium on November 14-18, 2022.
