The newly appointed Regional Director Mario Cuñado of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)- Caraga visited President Daguil on January 17, 2024.
The twofold visit included a courtesy meeting and an awarding segment, recognizing the university as an outstanding partner of DICT-Caraga.
Aiming to improve its information system, personnel of Northeastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) visited the Caraga State University (CSU) to benchmark and learn from the university’s own Financial Automation and Resource Management Systems (FARMS), January 12, 2024.
FARMS is a system developed by CSU to automate and fast track the processes of its Budget, Accounting, Procurement, Supply, Human Resource Management, and Cashier Offices.
The Adiong Memorial State College (AMSC), under the leadership of its President, Dr. Sherifa Rohannie K. Adiong, visited the university for a benchmarking activity. They requested some of the administration’s key offices to explore operational strategies and best practices beneficial for their future endeavors.
In her speech, Dr. Adiong lauded the university’s congeniality and willingness to share processes and homegrown innovations with growing institutions like AMSC.
The Caraga State University ranked 31st in the entire Philippines and 1st in Caraga in the recent edition of uniRank’s Top Universities in the Philippines. This leading global ranking system recognized CSU and 232 Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Members and officials of the Rotary Club of Central Butuan, spearheaded by its president, Mr. Ryan C. Pulleros, PHF+1, PHS, extended its Bears of Joy project to CSU at its Childcare Room today, December 28. The project, which aims to spread happiness during the festive season by distributing teddy bears to children, is in partnership with SM City Butuan.
