Butuan City, June 24, 2024 – The Caraga State University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil and Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Commissioner Hon. Beda A. Epres signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) today, formalizing the establishment of the Center for Human Rights and Education (CHRE).
Marking an end to the academic year 2023-2024, Caraga State University propelled the graduation ceremony of the SANGHAYA Class with the theme “Going Beyond Borders: Cultivating Academic Excellence, Lifelong Learning and Global Citizenship,” held at the CSU Gymnasium and Cultural Center, June 21.
June 19, 2024 – The Pollution Control and Environmental Management Office (PCEMO) of the university successfully launched the University Carbon Sink Enhancement Program, marked by the planting 2,532 native trees at the Basag and Antongalon boundaries of the university. This initiative pushes to uplift our Golden Paddlers’ commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
Marking a significant step in the strengthened internationalization collaboration, Caraga State University participated in the 2nd International Workshop on Intelligent Computing hosted by Far East University in Korea on June 4-5, 2024.
The university congratulates its 2,530 graduates of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) for Academic Year 2024 in a graduation ceremony on May 18, 2024, held at the Philippine Science High School.
The batch is composed of 359 from the Reserve Officers Training Corps, 335 from the Literacy Training Service, and 1,836 from the Civic Welfare Training Service.
