The Caraga State University Faculty Association elected its new set of Officers for Academic Year 2018-2020. The officers took their oath of office with CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso last April 17, 2018. The following are the newly elected faculty association officers:
Five faculty-researchers from Caraga State University namely, Dr. Romell A. Seronay, Dr. Joycelyn C. Jumawan, Mr. Richie P. Lador, Ms. Julie Rose Apdohan, and Ms. Meycel Amarille whose research posters were accepted entries for the research poster category attended the 40th National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) at the Manila Hotel last July 11-12, 2018.
Construction of the five infrastructure projects of Caraga State University Main Campus, namely: Street Lights, Covered Walk Phase III, Construction/Repair/Rehabilitation of Academic Buildings (University Hostel and S&T Building) and repair of various buildings are set by the third quarter of 2018.
Engr. Nilo H. Calomot was recognized by the San Francisco Water District for his contribution to their watershed management initiatives, farm models, research, and formulation of management plans and programs. The award was given during the 30th founding anniversary of the local water district last July 3, 2018 at Mabis Convention Center, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.
In a bid to find the next rising technology-based start-ups such as Grab, Uber, or Lazada in Caraga State University (CSU), the Innovation and Technopreneurship Hub (ITecH) launched the two-month Technopreneurship Summer Camp 2018 which runs from June 11 to July 31, 2018 at the Mechatronics Building in CSU.
